I was very excited today when one of my students pointed out errors in the clay manikins as she was taking the muscle practical. It was so refreshing to see how much detail she had acquired, something I haven’t seen before.

Sounds like a great idea. Carol
Sounds like a great idea.
Since the buiolding of the clay heart model with its major vessels was a short quick activity, I build one in front of them to show them what it should look like in preparatuion for next week’s blood vessel modelling. To make it easier for my students, I placed a maniken on my main desk for students to use in measuring their hearts as they formed and modified them. This will allow for things to move more smoothly next week.
